Craving Chile Colorado? Anita’s is Open!

If your mouth’s been watering the day when you could say, “Give me a number 8,” the time has finally arrived. Anita’s Taqueria reopened Monday, more than a month after a small fire closed the popular Mexican restaurant.  

The May 5 fire was quickly discovered and extinguished, but it took awhile to make repairs and modifications.

Employee Javier Cacares says “everybody’s happy” that Anita’s has reopened. He says that the top seller in the restaurant is the #8, chile Colorado, but the fajitas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas and chiles rellanos are also popular.

Anita’s is located at 2124 Railroad Ave. in Livermore.
