Celebrating Your Business

Livermore Chamber of Commerce members can promote their business with a ribbon cutting or a grand opening ceremony. Even if you've been a member for many years, it's not too late to celebrate with your friends, family and customers!

One of the hardest things for a new business is to figure out how to get their name out to their customers. Fortunately, businesses in Livermore and the surrounding Tri-Valley area have a fantastic opportunity to do just that.

When you join the Livermore Chamber of Commerce, or even if you've been a member for a long time, you can have a ribbon cutting ceremony and let the world know you're open for business!

Have you moved to a new location or opened a second office? Have a grand openeing ceremony to let your customers know all about it.

With your ribbon cutting or grand opening ceremony, it's an ideal photo opportunity. You can invite your friends, family and of course your staff, to be a part of it. The Livermore Chamber will invite many others to help celebrate your business too, including chamber staff, the ambassador committee, chamber board members, and even city officials.

You can have the ceremony at your place of business so those who attend get to see your business and what it's all about. Or you can have it at the chamber office in the conference room. You supply the goodies, and the chamber supplies the ribbon, camera and giant scissors!

Your business then gets highlighted with a publicity photograph, and it will be published in the Livermore Business Journal, The Tri-Valley Herald and The Valley Times newspaper. It gets posted the Chamber's Facebook page, website and blog. Your business will be mentioned in the weekly e-mail newsletter that goes out to over 1,000 people each week.

What does it cost you? Nothing - it's included as part of your membership dues, free of charge. It's hard to beat that kind of publicity and exposure anywhere else.

Add up all the other benefits, and it's a fantastic value.

About the Ambassador Committee

The ambassadors are the goodwill arm of the chamber and the business community. They participate in ribbon cuttings, grand openings and other chamber events. Ambassadors act as "special greeters" at the chamber’s many activities and they are responsible for introducing and welcoming new members. The committee meets the third Tuesday of the month in the Livermore Chamber Conference Room at noon.
