Holiday Treasures From Around The World

Livermore School of Dance is kicking off the holiday season with a celebration of cultures through dance!  We will be performing "Holiday Treasures From Around The World" Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore.  Show times are 1:00pm and 5:00pm.

Enjoy an evening of diversified dance from around the world including holiday, classical, and contemporary styles of dance and music.  This is a holiday event for all ages with special performances by Pauline Mata (SYTYCD-2009) and other local dance companies.  Directed by Liz Roberts, performances will include jazz, tap, hip hop and lyrical/contemporary styles of dance.
 
Join us for a dessert reception immediately following the performance while carolers and other local artists entertain.  Bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots if you wish!

Livermore School of Dance Jazz and Tap Companies have grown to 70+ dancers and is becoming the premier dance group of the Livermore valley.  The Jazz Company has been performing for the last five years in local events including the annual Gala of the Chamber of Commerce, Bankhead Grand Opening, Dream of the Snow Queen(2009), and Agape Village Charity Benefit Performance - Fame, Fortune, and Dreams (Spring 2010).  Livermore School of Dance was established by Liz Roberts (Jazz Division Director) and Shelly Schoendienst (Ballet Division Director) in 2004.  Livermore School of Dance promotes self-confidence and a love of dance in a professional and nurturing environment.  Our Jazz Division dancers learn the latest trends and technique in jazz, tap, hip hop, and lyrical dance.  Our popular musical theater classes invite the student into the world of Broadway dance and expression.  Our studio welcomes dancers from ages 2½ through adult, of all abilities.
