Anastasis Ballet Company presents "Testimony" to benefit Shepherd's Gate

Anastasis Ballet Company will present “Testimony” on May 14, 2012 at 7:30pm at Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore, CA (348 N. Canyons Pkwy.). The professional ballet company’s evening performance will benefit Shepherd’s Gate, a local non-profit serving the East Bay since 1984 that provides shelter and resources to help rebuild the shattered lives of women and children displaced by abuse, financial hardships, and addictions. The program will open with Anastasis Ballet Company’s “The Prayer” and will conclude with the company’s newest program “Testimony.” The new work will pair narratives of women who have participated in the Shepherd’s Gate's program with movement to contemporary music. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children (children under 2 are free) and can be purchased on the Anastasis Ballet Company website (www.anastasisballet.org), or at the door.  Priority seating given to pre-purchased ticket holders.
