Week in Review: Centennial Bulb Scare; Granada Baseball; 6 Arrested for Monday Shooting

World's Longest Burning Light Bulb Out... But Only Overnight 
What was thought to be the end of an era for the world-famous Centennial Bulb turned out to be a false alarm when the bulb flickered back to life early Tuesday morning after appearing to have gone out for seven hours beginning late Monday night. Fortunately, the 111-year-old bulb had not burned out. Firefighters discovered that the uninterrupted power supply had failed and once they ran an extension cord to the bulb, it was back on. See what Mayor Marchand had to say about the bulb scare.

Pit Bull Killed, 6 Arrested in Connection to Monday's Shooting
Six people were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a shooting at a home in Livermore on Monday. Livermore police shot and killed a pit bull after it attacked them and a K9 dog during at the arrest.

Patrol Car Struck in Hit-And-Run on I-580, CHP Officer Taken to Hospital 
A car crashed into a CHP patrol car stopped for a collision on I-580 around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday night. The driver did not stop and the officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The officer had been blocking another collision, which had occurred just before 1 a.m. on westbound I-580.

$5,000 Worth Of Merchandise Stolen During Grab-and-Run Theft at Paragon Outlets
Suspects ran into the True Religion Brand Jeans store at the Livermore Premium Outlet shopping center on Friday afternoon and stole about $5,000 worth of merchandise. Read the full story here.
