  • Bale Folclorico da Bahia. Bankhead Theater. 7:30 p.m. More than 30 dynamic dancers, musicians and singers bring audiences to their feet with infectious rhythms, exuberant dances and dramatic “capoeira” martial arts.
  • Christmas Tree Lane - Wonderland Family Stroll.  5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Palm Event Center, 1184 Vineyard Ave., Pleasanton. Lavishly decorated trees, wreaths and garlands create a breathtaking Christmas wonderland. Benefits ValleyCare's Breast Cancer Program and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

  • Earlier Than The Bird. Downtown Livermore. 7 a.m. Livermore Shopping District launches the Holiday Season with a pajama party designed to let you beat the corporate Holiday launch the following week!

  • CPR Classes. Dublin. The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED certification class covers CPR for infants, children, & adults, choke-saving, and automated external defibrillator. 
  • Italianita in America. Think you know all about authentic Italian cooking? Attend this free lecture by food historian Ken Albala. Livermore Library 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
