Things to Know in Livermore This Week: May 27-June 2

A list of events scheduled in town this week.

New Police Officers To Be Sworn In While Honoring Resident
Tuesday, May 27 at 3 p.m. in the Police Community Room at the Police Department. Two reserve officers will be sworn in and Livermore resident Michael Lause, who was the recipient of lung tissue from a fallen Richmond officer, will be recognized.

Political Issues Book Club
Tuesday, May 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Livermore Public Library Civic Center Library Storytime Room. 

Livermore Farmer's Market
Thursday, May 30 at Carnegie Park at 3rd & J Street from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dog Day Afternoon

Saturday, June 1 at 12:00 p.m. at Wente Vineyards Estate Winery Admission is free to the "Dog Day Afternoon" at Wente Vineyards. Admission is free. For information call 925-456-2305.
