I went downtown to have breakfast and I turned around and went home because of all the parking lots are full with the half marathon runners. These runners don't have pockets and I'll carry money and don't spend anything downtown they come late they leave early they don't linger and spend money. Have the marathon at lake del valle . lots of parking. lots of running area . do it

I did see two runners getting money out of an ATM. And they were all drinking out of wineglasses.

Can I ask whose brilliant idea it was to give the fun k children runners a wine glass? Think about it - not only a glass for alcohol but a GLASS! Heard breaking glass all over. Wouldn't plastic water bottles be more appropriate? A little disturbing to see a 4 year old toting wine glasses for himself and mom!

Great Job Livermore. From a runners perspective, the event was well put together and a great opportunity to show guest the beauty of our town!! I'm looking forward to next year. Run, wine, LIV : )
