PATCH PICKS: Dining Out on Easter Sunday

Plan ahead for Easter brunch or dinner. Make reservations to dine at your favorite restaurant for the holiday.

Here's a few spots in the Tri-Valley to check out when dining out on Easter Sunday, April 24:

Celebrate Easter with brunch at Poppy Ridge Golf Course, 4280 Greenville Road. in Livermore. A buffet will feature all of your favorites while overlooking the rolling hills of Livermore Valley wine country. Enjoy Easter Brunch at Poppy Ridge’s Porter’s Restaurant 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults $36.95, Children 7-12 $16.95, 6 years and under free.  Call 925-456-8215 for reservations.

Livermore’s Wente Vineyards, 5050 Arroyo Road, is holding Easter Brunch and Dinner at its award-winning The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards. Brunch $49 excluding beverage, tax and gratuity, Dinner $55 excluding beverage, tax and gratuity. Call 925-456-2400 for a special reservation to suit your party.

The Farmer Restaurant, at the historic Pleasanton Hotel, 855 Main St., is offering an Easter Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Check out the oven-roasted New York Steak Strip at the Carving Station and Farmer’s various fruit platters. Adults $29.95, children 4-10 years $11.95.  Reservations can be made at 925-399-6690.

Faz Pleasanton Restaurant, 5121 Hopyard Road., serves wood-fired meats, roasted veggies and many classic Mediterranean food dishes. Faz Pleasanton is serving Easter Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Faz Danville Restaurant, 600 Hartz Ave., will be open for Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy breakfast, hot entrées from the Chef’s Carving Station, seafood, salads and desserts. Adults $34.95, seniors $30.95, children 5-12 $15.95, 4 years and under is free. If you want to stay home, enjoy Mimi’s Café Feast To-Go. Mimi’s Holiday Feast menu features a fully-cooked and prepared turkey, potatoes, bread, stuffing and dessert, for $79.99.
