Have You Seen the 'Pyramid' at the Library?

The Zone 7 Water water jug pyramid will be on display at the library through the end of July.

Zone 7 Water wants residents to stop by the Livermore Library before July 30 to see the giant water pyramid on display.

The 144 one-gallon pyramid of water jugs, which represents daily water use of each resident, has been moved throughout Tri-Valley, most recently visiting the Alameda County Fair, and is meant as a reminder for people to use water wisely.

According recent to a Zone 7 monthly newsletter, the display is designed so it "conveys a message not only about the need to use water wisely, but also about the value, convenience and environmental benefits of tap water vs. hundreds-of-times-more-expensive bottled water in plastic containers."

"The pyramid made its debut at the Spring Home & Garden Show at the fairgrounds," Boni Brewer of Zone 7 said.
The Livermore Library is located at 1188 S. Livermore Avenue.
