The Ferry Building plaza is an open-air marketplace for Ferry Plaza (California Certified) Farmers' Market , managed by the nonprofit Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA). The market is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays. The market offers regionally-grown vegetables, fruits, flowers, herbs, meats and eggs, many of which are certified organic. Fresh from the financial district, the San Francisco Farmers’ Market at Crocker Galleria, 50 Post St., is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. every Thursday year around, and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 7 to Sept. 27. The Alemany Farmers Market, 100 Alemany Blvd., San Francisco, was founded in 1943.
