Annual Chili Shooters Stampede and Western Heritage Celebration Coming to Town

Get those taste buds ready as area restaurants will showcase unique chili recipes at the upcoming downtown event.

The 2012, Livermore Chili Shooters Stampede/Western Heritage Celebration will be held on June 2nd in the downtown Livermore.

  • When? 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday (June 2)
  • Where? Downtown Core
  • Expected Attendance: 5,000

$25 for official taster shot glass, taster beer glass and tasting passport.

Chili Tasting: Restaurants will be giving sample tastes of their creations. These are not traditional chili recipes. Our globally inspired and locally enhanced restaurants use their own ethnic and regional spices and ingredients to provide a unique "foodie" experience for the participants. As we love to say, "This ain't your Grandma's Chili!"

Sierra Nevada Craft Brew Tasting: Major Sponsoring Brewery - Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will have a different beer creation offered as a taste at our participating retail/shopping locations.

Entertainment: Western Themed music and activities will be spread out throughout the downtown activity core.

Exhibits:

  • Old West, Ranch and Farm equipment on display.
  • Farm animal petting zoo.
  • Blacksmith demonstrations
  • Roping and Rodeo demonstrations
