Livermore Professional Earns California Certification

Jackie Mast with Christison Co. in Livermore, Calif., has earned the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) designation from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). The CCAM is the only California-specific certification awarded to professionals working in the community association management field in California. New CCAMs have successfully completed a rigorous educational curriculum which focuses strictly on California law and best practices in community association management.

Statewide, 39 management professionals earned the CCAM designation during the second quarter of 2013.

“Congratulations to all of our new CCAMs, who have dedicated themselves to providing the highest level of professional community management in California,” said Karen Conlon, president and CEO of CACM. “One out of every three families in California lives in a community association. It’s that fact that makes professional community association management a multi-billion dollar industry in California. California law is extremely complex and becoming more so every year, which is why the educational curriculum leading to CCAM certification focuses strictly on California law and ethical standards of practice.”
