Live More, Save More Job Deadline Approaches! Don't Miss Out!

Hello Patch readers! If you have been keeping up with the boards and blogs under the Live More, Save More program, you may have heard about our advertising for a $14/hr. job for teens. This is just an update that the deadline is THIS FRIDAY. If you have a student who is in high school, or know a friend, please visit www.livemoresavemore.org and click on the student section, and fill out your application.

Just a quick recap of what we are looking for:
-Great communication skills
-Ability to do outreach work via social media, door-to-door, speaking at community events, etc.
-Working 10 hours a week, $14/hr.

Questions about the Live More, Save More program? It is brought together by the City of Livermore, Chevron Energy Solutions, and WattzOn with three goals in mind: reduce Livermore residents/small businesses' energy use, save money, and raise awareness in our community. It is a free program (because it is funded by the named three organizations), so there is nothing to worry about! You set up an appointment to come and walk in to the consultation (at either Rincon or Civic Center library), or via phone. Then, after the consultation where we identify energy solutions for your home, if you save at least 1% on your electricity or gas, you're entered into a raffle to win $100!
