Joaquin “Ken” Paulino Limtiaco, age 50, of Brentwood passed away June 25, 2012. Ken was born on November 11, 1961 to Juan and Lydia Limtiaco in Guam. After moving to Livermore in the fifth grade, Ken attended school in Livermore until his graduation from Granada High School in 1980.
Ken has served the Tri-Valley area for over thirty years. After starting his career at the 1st Street 76 station in Livermore, Ken worked for a time at Tri Valley Tire. He started his first business venture in a partnership with V&G Muffler in downtown Livermore before opening his signature Ken’s Tire Service in 1995 where he has worked until he passed.
Most weekends you could find Ken up in the mountains camping and enjoying his passion, dirt bike riding with his family and friends. Ken was first a loving husband and father as well as a fair business man known for his hospitality and generosity.
Ken was preceded in his death by his parents Juan and Lydia Limtiaco and a brother, Juan Limtiaco Jr. He is survived by his wife, Pam Limtiaco, and children Alicia, Carly, Courtney and Jonathan Limtiaco; his brothers Vince Limtiaco, Tony Limtiaco and Joe Limtiaco and his sister Connie Limtiaco.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Callaghan Mortuary in Livermore. A memorial service will be held for Ken at Celebration Christian Center on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 am at 1135 Bluebell Drive in Livermore.
