Almost Home, I Need a Vehicle. Doesn't have to be pretty.
I have posted as Helltopay Harmon here on Patch. The screen name was about a traffic accident that happened to me in Louisiana (visiting family) as I was driving home to Oregon from Massachusetts. Short version of that story: I still have a perfect driving record, a valid drivers' license, I do not smoke, drink or use drugs. However, getting over that accident took all of my resources and when I fell off the map here in Livermore I never recovered. Now I have a job offer in Portland (home!) starting on July 31. I have gas money to drive 800 miles. I have money to pay for insurance, registration and title but...my truck won't make the trip. Needs a head gasket estimated at $2,000.00. On my fixed income I have not been able to save that kind of money. I know that people and organizations sometimes donate vehicles. Could someone donate a truck, van or even an RV? I need to tow a camper weighing under two tons. This would be a tax write off for you. I have a current character reference from a Work-Kamping job I just finished in the Tri-Valley area. Please Google me: Rosemarie Harmon. My email is: rhiattharmon@gmail.com. I am a good person who is poor, that's all. I've been working on getting myself back to Oregon and somehow, I believe, I will make it through this and someone will believe in me and help me get home. Thanks.
