Here is your weekly dose of activities going on around town:
Monday – Family Storytime at the Civic Center will be held from 7 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday – A State of the Union (SOTU) viewing party will be held at the Livermore Library Civic Center. Viewing begins at 5:45 p.m.
Wednesday – The Wonders of Google. Learn advanced search techniques and other cool features such as maps, news, images and books. This lecture is at the Livermore Library and goes from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m.
Thursday – Relay for Life – Livermore kicks off. The annual program is the American Cancer Society's flagship fund raiser. Last year's event in Livermore raised more than $216,000 for research. Learn how you can take part at the kick-off party, 6:30 p.m. at Cattleman’s Restaurant.
Friday – The Livermore Rotary Club hosts its annual crab feed, including dancing and live music by the Gabe Duffin Band. It will be at the Shrine Event Center and starts at 6 p.m.
Saturday - The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is holding a Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to noon.
Sunday – Attend Winter Tracking with Ranger Patti Cole at Sycamore Grove (Nature Area Entrance) Learn the basics while tracking critters. Be prepared for wet and muddy conditions. Program begins at 3 p.m.

Livermore's 2011 Talent Competition Semi-Finals held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the LHS Theater located at 600 Maple Street. Times are 9:00to 4:00 . Tickets are $5.00 at the door for an all day in/out pass. Put on by the Rotary Clubs of Livermore.
