Robert Gibbs to Appear on Dr. Phil TV Show

The morbidly obese Livermore man who became a YouTube sensation when he posted a video seeking help will appear on TV show, according to reports.

A morbidly obese Livermore man's plea for help has been answered.

The Bay Area News Group reports Robert Gibbs, 23, was loaded into an ambulance Sunday to be transported to Los Angeles for an appearance on the nationally syndicated Dr. Phil TV show.

Gibbs, who is concerned with his weight and health, on March 1 posted a YouTube video seeking help. The video went viral and since has garnered more than 1.3 million views.

His Dr. Phil appearance is not scheduled to air until April, according to the Bay Area News Group report.
