Stony Ridge's roots in the Livermore Valley date back to 1887, while its sister winery, Crooked Vine, got its start in 2000.

Today, these valley gems collectively produce more than 25 wines.

In this week's Wine Wednesdays, Monique Soltani introduces us to the woman behind the two vines.

Jaime Dowell recommends trying the Stony Ridge Trifecta and the Crooked Vine Petite Sirah. She also says to keep your eyes open for a Stony Ridge Rose and a Crooked Vine Sparkling Pinot Rose. Both wines are expected to hit shelves in about a month.

Nicely done segment Monique! There are so many colorful wineries with great stories around our Valley that you could do this for a long time and not run out of ideas. Maybe some folks over the hill will see one of your segments and come over to check it out.
